The Faculty of Engineering comprises around 4000 students and over 380 staff and has extensive specialist facilities on the Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee campuses of the University of Ulster. Our mission is to offer the highest quality education, pure and applied research and technology transfer through rich partnerships with people and organisations. The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ulster comprises of six Schools, namely the Schools of the Built Environment; Computing and Information Engineering; Computing and Intelligent Systems; Computing and Mathematics; Electrical and Mechanical Engineering; and the Research Graduate School. |

The Faculty of Life & Health Sciences is made up of five academic schools, a Research Graduate School and an Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Primary Care, covering three campuses of the University of Ulster at Jordanstown, Coleraine and Magee. The Faculty has an international reputation for the quality of its research which is carried out within its research groups. The Schools within the Faculty are: Biomedical Sciences; Environmental Sciences; Health Sciences; Nursing; Psychology; Institute for Postgraduate Medicine and Primary Care; and the Graduate Research School.

The School of Computing and Mathematics is one of five academic schools in the Faculty of Engineering. The School is based at the Jordanstown campus of the university, and places an emphasis on the production of software, mathematics, knowledge transfer and the associated underpinning research. The School has extensive international links for both teaching and research.

The School of Health Sciences, situated exclusively on the Jordanstown Campus, was created in August 2004 to serve the main professional disciplines of: Clinical Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography [diagnostic and therapeutic], Speech & Language Therapy and Sports Studies. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate modularly structured programmes leading to professionally accredited qualifications.
